I have worked with a lot of realtors in the past, but James is the best by far.

My husband and I met James 11 years ago when he assisted us in selling our first home. We remembered James from the local advertisements that we had consistently seen from the time we moved to the AV in 1988, and were so impressed by his knowledge of the real estate process and his genuine wish to help us. He has always gone out of his way to assist us and answer any of our million questions. It is now 11 years later and we have stayed in contact with James all of these years though business and now a good friendship. James is not your typical real estate agent -- he is fantastic in every aspect.

He has immense local knowledge and an incredible ability to work through seemingly "show stopping" issues to get a deal done. Not only does he think through the negotiation, but his list of contacts post deal -- roofers, electricians, insurance, pool guys, plumbers, and more -- are all top notch. And as good of an agent he is, he's a better person. Couldn't recommend James more.

James vastly exceeded my expectations and literally went the extra mile for me!

I was having a difficult time finding a real estate agent when I managed to get in touch with James, and basically we went right to work. He stayed up late and worked the weekend so I could acquire a house I had my eye on. When we got to the house to look it over, it unfortunately was not what I had expected. James was not deterred, we soldiered on and visited an assortment of very reasonably priced and lovely homes. I wanted something with acreage for my dogs, but still all the modern creature comforts. At one point during our adventures, our truck actually got stuck in some sand and despite our best efforts we couldn't free the tires from the unforgiving silicon. We had to hike back to the main road, with only my sandals protecting my feet mind you. The sand was like walking across hot coals at one of those team-building workshops! James actually took the socks off his feet and let me wear them so my feet wouldn't melt!!! This is what I call going the extra mile for your client!!! Long story short, I got an awesome house, at a great price and it certainly wouldn't have happened without James' understanding, compassion, and experience at my side!! All in all, James brings a human element to the whole process. He is a tenacious worker, and a skilled negotiator who will listen to what you want and then help you get it. Thanks James!

In 2004, James handled the sale and purchase of a home for us. He did such a great job for us the first time, that when the time came for us to sell our home recently, we didn't hesitate in calling him. Our experience with James Baker was nothing but positive from the first phone call to the actual closing of our home. James is a very knowledgeable and energetic realtor who truly has his clients' best interests at heart. He lead us every step of the way, taking the time to explain all of our options, and answering all of our questions. Since our home was a short sale, he demonstrated his expertise in dealing with the lender. He was very familiar with the Equator system that banks require for document transmittal. When the bank posted a task, James immediately contacted us to let us know what was needed, and guided us through the whole process. He would also meet with us late at night to accommodate our working schedules, and was always prompt in returning our calls. People that we have talked to about our short sale have been amazed at how quickly and smoothly our sale went. James is a man of integrity, and we have nothing but the utmost respect for him. When the time comes again, he will be the only realtor that we will call!

James got to know me as a personal friend to help pick right listing for a home. he found me a dream home in 2 weeks time. James also help us with paper work for loan, and best of all he was and still is there for us when we have question or need help. This is a man that stands by you before, during, and after you buy. I do not think one could find any one better.

James Baker is a GREAT Realtor! He went above and beyond, helping me get the house that I wanted, where I wanted. He was always available to answer any question or concern of mine. James helped me become a home owner...I called James in Jan. 2000 to see if he could find me a rental home, anything even a duplex...I was desperate...The next day he found me a great home to BUY...I couldn't believe it...I thought i was gonna be a renter the rest of my life...Best thing to ever happen to me...We paid 100k and four years later in April 2004 he sold it for me at 210k, more than double...That enabled me to move to my dream home in the mountains on a 4 acre ranch..And i am still here 9 years later................................THANKS JAMES
